Hoda Kotb and Billy Bush Talk About Saturday Night Live Spoof
I was laughing hysterically when Today show host, Hoda Kotb, sat down with Billy Bush this morning and they talked about their weekends (Hoda spent time in Florida with co-host, Kathie Lee Gifford, who is currently on vacation) and a host of other things but, of course, they had to bring up the hilarious Saturday Night Live sketch that took direct aim at the pairing of Hoda and Kathie Lee on the morning talk show. One cameraman was laughing so hard when they showed the clip that Hoda had to tell him that “it wasn’t that funny” a couple times. …read more
Hoda and Kathie Lee Talk About Etta James’ Outburst
February 5, 2009 by Jeanne
Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford talked about the fact that legendary singer, Etta James, took issue with the fact that Beyoncé Knowles was chosen to sing the iconic classic “At Last” during the inaugural ball of President Barack Obama. Etta went off at a recent performance about how Beyoncé was going to get her a** whooped. I am inclined to agree with Etta. If Aretha Franklin was chosen to sing “America, The Beautiful” at the inauguration, why was Etta overlooked.
I found the video from the Today show but please be forewarned – Kathie Lee is even more annoying than …read more

Today Show’s Tips for New Year’s Bubbly!
December 31, 2008 by Jeanne
Leslie Sbrocco, the author of The Simple and Savvy Wine Guide, provided tips and suggestions for tasty New Year’s Eve drinks that won’t hurt your budget!
She put the taste buds of two Today show correspondents to the test. Surprise! They had a hard time picking which champagne was pricier than the other.
Interestingly enough, Leslie was pairing wines with items like popcorn (she actually even created a popcorn bar…), cheese, chocolate and hamburgers.

Holidays Are Over – Should You Regift?
December 29, 2008 by Jeanne
We’ve all been talking about it – the economy has been terrible this year and money is tight. I think I heard that many stores experienced some of their lowest sales in history. At a time like this, some people might be wondering if it’s okay to “regift” an item that they received but didn’t want or need.
On the Today show, they talked about how regifting is great for your wallet but is also a “green” way to give this season. I haven’t ever regifted but after watching this segment, I can understand how it can work. Watch it now:

Today Show Takes a Look Back at 2008
December 22, 2008 by Jeanne
I love it when shows do a recap of what they’ve done in a year. Sometimes the trip down memory lane reminds me of events that I had forgotten and stories that have made me both laugh and cry.
I had a lot of fun looking at some of the more notable moments on the Today show this past year. I hope it brings a little cheer to you too in this Monday morning.

Search for Cayley Anthony Clues Continues
December 16, 2008 by Jeanne
The remains of a child, believed to be Cayley Anthony, were found and now investigators are searching for clues that will give them any sort of information about when the child’s body was left in the woods and, of course, who is responsible for her death.
This case has been so difficult for me. I look at the sweet little face of Cayley and I hurt inside thinking that her mother, Casey Anthony, could be responsible for her disappearance. I’m just sickened with the possibility that Cayley’s caring grandparents could actually know something. They’ve been the driving force behind the …read more
