LaToya Jackson To Host “The View” and Talk to Walters

LaToya Jackson is suddenly a very busy woman.  While she had mostly dropped from the spotlight in recent years, she’s been making the rounds since her brother, Michael Jackson, died suddenly this past June.
It’s been announced that she will be filling in for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who is currently on maternity leave, on September 16 and September 18, 2009. 
This will be the second time that LaToya has co-hosted The View with the first time being on March 14, 2003.

Joe Jackson, who you might remember as the man Michael Jackson accused of abusing him as a child, was on Good Morning America where he talked about his son’s sudden death. 
Instead of allowing the police to conduct their investigation, the Jackson family patriarch is talking to as many people as he can about his belief that the King of Pop’s death was the result of foul play.

Today show host, Matt Lauer, interviewed Michael Jackson’s older brother, Jermaine Jackson, this morning and was given a rare behind-the-scene glimpse of Jackson’s beloved Neverland Ranch.
It was a very emotional discussion, of course, with Jermaine speaking candidly about his brother’s death a week ago today.

Regis Philbin Reacts to Jackson and Fawcett Deaths

Talk show host, Regis Philbin, reacted to the deaths of both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson yesterday. 

According to Entertainment Tonight, Regis said (of Jackson’s death):  "It was a tremendous shock.  I know his health probably wasn’t the greatest but I didn’t expect him to go this soon… I remember him on the Joey Bishop show years ago, he must have been nine or 10 years old and I’ve been watching him ever since.  He came on the show and just electrified people.
