Today, young country singer, Taylor Swift, stopped by The View where she discussed the latest controversy to hit the stage during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. That night Taylor won for Best Female Video award, which she got up to accept. Rapper, Kanye West, was on The View this morning where he talked a bit about his 808s & Heartbreak album.  It was interesting to hear his take on the album which produced some “out of character” singles including “Heartless.”  He said that he was going through a lot of heartbreak after his mother passed away (and continues to struggle) and felt that he didn’t have anything to lose and thought he would take a risk.
