]]> Today, young country singer, Taylor Swift, stopped by The View where she discussed the latest controversy to hit the stage during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. That night Taylor won for Best Female Video award, which she got up to accept. During her speech, rapper Kanye West took her microphone from her and ranted about how singer, Beyonce deserved the award more.

Kate Gosselin was co-hosting again today and was there with the ladies while Taylor described what was going through her head when it all went down. The way she put it was actually quite funny, but it was really such a sad moment for her when it was happening.

She also said she got a lot of support from people backstage after the incident, which gave her the strength to perform just minutes after it all went down. She seems like such a strong and classy girl and I’m glad she was able to put it behind her. Check out her interview below.

]]> Yesterday, Jon and Kate Plus 8 star, Kate Gosselin, was invited to guest co-host on The View, where she spoke to the ladies about her life. Following their usual “Hot Topics” segment, Sherri Shepherd straight out asked Kate how she feels when her soon-to-be ex-husband Jon, brings other women to the house when he cares for their eight kids.

Kate responded by saying that it’s been tough, but that she’s decided to be as respectable as possible. She even admitted to having a breakdown over the weekend. She was also asked by Joy Behar on why she agreed to start the show in the first place. Kate bluntly replied that she needed the money in order to provide for her children.

Kate seems to be handling all this drama relatively well and I’m sure it can’t possibly be easy, so given the circumstances, right now, I think she’s doing the best that she possibly can. In the end, it’s all about he children so hopefully they haven’t been affected too negatively by all of this.

]]> Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana made their way to The Today Show where they talked about their new movie, The Time Traveler’s Wife, which is an adaptation of the 2003 novel written by Audrey Niffenegger. It revolves around a librarian named Henry (Bana), who has a condition where he travels through time when he is stressed. Despite this, he attempts a relationship with artist, Clare Abshire (McAdams).

They dish a bit more about the film in their interview. Eric spoke about getting over losing his clothing in front of camera as well as his Australian accent. Rachel also discussed the on-camera chemistry she felt with her co-star and how lucky they were that there wasn’t too much awkwardness. According to Rachel, fans of the book shouldn’t be disappointed because, despite the lack of characters included in the novel, the film retains the romance between the two main characters. ]]> The Hills star, Lauren Conrad has put recent claims made by co-star, Spencer Pratt, into question with her recent appearance on The View.  He claims he apologized to her after fabricating rumors of her appearance in a sex tape, only so that she’d attend his wedding to Heidi Montag. However, in an interview with the ladies of The View, Lauren says that she never even received an apology from Spencer and that the apology that he supposedly made in a phone call to her on television, was fake.

She says,"To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t on the other line of that call. That was filmed and I wasn’t on the other end. … So no, I didn’t get an apology; he’s lying."

The ladies, Sherri Shepherd in particular, seemed to be take a back by this news after he lied on the show recently. That is awful. However, it’s not all that surprising coming from a man like Spencer who seems to thrive on lying and attention.

]]> Yesterday, Jada Pinkett Smith stopped by for a chat with the ladies on The View. Jada is an executive producer and main cast member on the show HawthoRNe, which aired it’s pilot episode yesterday on TNT. They spoke a bit about the show and how it’s difficult to get back into acting on television.

To the amusement of the audience, she also hinted to some intimate details about how she and her husband, Will Smith, like to keep their marriage exciting after 12 years of being married and 18 years of being together. It was hilarious! She looked beautiful and it’s nice to see that she and her family are doing well!

]]> Today, on The Bonnie Hunt Show she ran encore of her interview with Tony Shalhoub of the hit television show, Monk appeared on this morning. Tony plays the role of Adrian Monk, a crime consultant who suffers from severe obsessive compulsive disorder. It was quite an interesting interview because he says that after playing the role of Monk for seven seasons, some of the character’s obsessive tendencies have been rubbing off on him!

Tony also revealed that he is one of ten kids! He says that they try to stay close together despite how scattered everyone is. Then, he brought out an invention that his brother, Dan, had made for people who walk their dog and hate to clean up after them.

The show, Monk,  will premiere it’s eight and final season on August 7th of this year. If you’re interested, keep your eyes out for the DVD release of season 7 on July 21, 2009.

]]> Heroes star, Zachary Quinto stopped by to promote the much anticipated “Star Trek” movie on “The Bonnie Hunt Show” today. He spoke a bit about what it’s like for him to be part of something that’s so big and so loved. According to him, he’s absolutely loving it and having the time of his life, which is great to hear!

He also spoke about a bit of his life growing up. Funny enough, they found out the both ended up being in the same movie “Only You” starring Robert Downey Jr. and Marisa Tomei. The interview was pretty interesting!

In the movie, which opens on May 8th, Zachary Quinto will be playing the role of Spock, originally played by Leonard Nimoy. I think he’s a great pick for the movie, so I can’t wait to see how it will turn out!
