Lauren Conrad Tells The View That Spencer Pratt Never Apologized

The Hills star, Lauren Conrad has put recent claims made by co-star, Spencer Pratt, into question with her recent appearance on The View. He claims he apologized to her after fabricating rumors of her appearance in a sex tape, only so that she’d attend his wedding to Heidi Montag. However, in an interview with the ladies of The View, Lauren says that she never even received an apology from Spencer and that the apology that he supposedly made in a phone call to her on television, was fake.

She says,"To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t on the other line of that call. That was filmed and I wasn’t on the other end. … So no, I didn’t get an apology; he’s lying."

The ladies, Sherri Shepherd in particular, seemed to be take a back by this news after he lied on the show recently. That is awful. However, it’s not all that surprising coming from a man like Spencer who seems to thrive on lying and attention.

Spencer and Heidi Pratt on The View

Spencer Pratt and his wife, Heidi (Montag) Pratt, have continued their tour of talk shows following their highly controversial stint on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

Their interview with the Today show’s Al Roker has caused some commotion but, fortunately the sit-down with the ladies on The View went a lot better since the hosts knew how to be more subtle in their approach to Speidi’s madness.

I was pleased to see that Spencer had taken his ego down a tad (not much but anything is better than nothing) and he had some really kind words to say about his I’m a Celebrity… castmate, Stephen Baldwin, who actually baptized Spencer in the water in Costa Rica.

While on the show, Heidi all but confirmed the reports that she will be in an upcoming issue of Playboy. Spencer had some news of his own – he plans to run for president in the near future. Wow.

Al Roker Attacks Spencer and Heidi Pratt?

Spencer Pratt and his wife, Heidi Montag Pratt, were on the Today show this morning where they were interviewed by Al Roker. I didn’t find anything wrong with the appearance (except the fact that Spencer and Heidi seemed to think that nothing was wrong with their behavior on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here).

When it was all over, the pair talked to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show and had really negative things to say about their Today show appearance: "To be honest, I would never be interviewed by that man again…I really would advise women especially to be careful around him, because I feel like he definitely came and attacked me, and I did not appreciate that at all," complained Heidi.

Of course, Spencer had his own way of being disgruntled: "I’m still trying to figure out: Was the weatherman asking us questions? I thought we were getting interviewed by Matt Lauer or something. Next thing you know, I’ve got the guy that tells me if it’s rainy or sunny trying to ask me questions. So we were thrown off that the weatherman was even trying to talk to Speidi."

Not content to let Spencer get in all the jabs, Heidi added: "I was shocked at how rude he was. I was crying afterwards because I couldn’t believe I felt personally attacked. He was yelling at me and saying, ‘Do you feel proud of this, do you feel proud of this?’ I wanted to say to him, ‘Do you feel proud of how you’re talking to me right now? I’m just a young woman and you’re coming at me so aggressively and meanly and mean-spirited.’ "

Al Roker is no shrinking violet. He took to Twitter and wrote: "Heidi and Spencer are an interesting couple. famous for…being infamous. Bad and vacuous behavior. I think we’re at minute 11 of their 15."
