Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel sat down with Ellen DeGeneres for a bit of fun. The Jimmy Kimmel Live! host was asked by Ellen about why he doesn’t like to dance, to which he responded that he only does it when he’s drunk! Jimmy then discussed his past experiences from when he was a wedding DJ.
His Halloween ideas were also pretty crazy! Jimmy is hilarious, and it was nice to see him and Ellen together. Quite a pair they make!

According to reports made by Perez Hilton, several of his readers are claiming that they were turned away from seeing rock group No Doubt performing  outdoors. The group performed yesterday for an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The fans had been waiting for 7 hours in the sun and each of them had reserved tickets to the show. Despite the fact that they had reserved tickets, they were denied access due to a major miscount on the show’s part. They over counted 500 people attending the event so those 500 fans left the Warner Bros lot disappointed and terribly unsatisfied.

Yesterday, on the Ellen DeGeneres Show comedian, George Lopez and rock group No Doubt stopped by for interviews. No Doubt also performed a couple of their much loved songs including “Just a Girl”, “Hella Good” and “Hey Baby.” As usual, they put a whole bunch of energy into their performances.  Gwen Stefani is crazy! I can’t believe what she does around the 2:10 mark. The vocals weren’t all that great, but it looked like she was having enough fun rocking out!

Ellen Degeneres talked with to Brad Pitt via satellite (he was in New Orleans) this morning.  She congratulated him on the success of his Make It Right foundation, which aims to provide affordable housing to those who survived Hurricane Katrina.  Brad thanked Ellen for her support since her show has raised over 1.2 million dollars for the cause.  That’s amazing! 

Ellen also lamented over the fact that she hasn’t been able to get George Clooney on her show (despite her best efforts).  Brad had an interesting suggestion for success…

Singing superstar, Beyonce, was on the Ellen Degeneres show where she performed “Singles Ladies” and the most emotional “Flaws and All.”  Naturally, during “Single Ladies” she had to do the choreography from the video that you are seeing all over the place (she’s doing it with every performance and Justin Timberlake even spoofed it on Saturday Night Live).  Honestly, I’m kind of tired of seeing it but she did a good job on Ellen.

Mariah Carey was on the Ellen show yesterday where she tried to corner Mimi into admitting that she and her husband, Nick Cannon, are expecting.  Ellen came right out and asked if Mariah was pregnant and then when the star balked, the talk show host took out some champagne and suggested they toast to the fact Mariah is not expecting.  When Mariah merely pretended to take a sip, Ellen yelled "you’re pregnant!" and, although Mimi tried to deny it, the audience had already made up their minds.  Watch the video:

On an episode of Ellen that will air tomorrow, the talk show host gives Rob Pattinson a pair of boxers that say "Bite Me."  In case you don’t get why she would do something like that, I should explain that Rob is starring in the film adaptation of the teen vampire romance novel, Twilight (opens in theaters tomorrow!  Watch some trailers on Film Gecko!). 
Rob also talks about how he has been unlucky in love: "No one else seems to get into a relationship with me," the 22-year-old British heartthrob tells Ellen. "It’s really strange."

This beautiful little 7-year-old piano prodigy was on the Ellen Degeneres show where she showcased a song she wrote for Ellen and her new wife, Portia De Rossi.  The composition, called "Once Upon a Wish" was actually really intricate (some of the chord changes were also unusual and surprising – very nice!) and little Emily explained that she gave it that title because Ellen got her "wish."  Is that not the sweetest thing ever?  You could see Ellen fighting back some tears on that one!

This morning on The View, they talked a little bit more about Proposition 8 (the bill that could ban gay marriage) and some of the feedback they have received on the topic.  Whoopi Goldberg and Barbara Walters talked about a call they received from Ellen Degeneres whose initial fear was that her recent marriage to Portia De Rossi would be annulled.  After consulting with legal council, Barbara clarified that the ban will not work retroactively and that those marriages that have already taken place will be honored.
