Etheridge Accuses Hasselbeck of Misleading People About Gay Marriage

Singer, Melissa Etheridge, was on The View yesterday where she talked about how sad she was to see the right to marry taken away from gay and lesbian couples at last month’s presidential election. Melissa commended moderator, Whoopi Goldberg, for her words on the subject but she told Elisabeth Hasselbeck that she was disappointed in the things she had to say and even accused Elisabeth of being misleading.

Could Elisabeth Hasselbeck Replace Oprah?

As people begin to speculate about the possibility of Oprah moving to her own network when her contract ends in 2011, rumors have been swirling about who could replace her. Could the next big talk show host be Elisabeth Hasselbeck of The View? I surely hope not. While I think her antics are entertaining (sometimes), I can’t see her having long-term appeal unless she’s going to fight and argue with her guests. Elisabeth without a feud is, well… boring. Barbara Walters: Pregnant Man is Pregnant Again!
Barbara Walters talked, on The View, this morning about the special, "What Is a Man, What Is a Woman? Journey of a Pregnant Man,” which airs on Friday (tomorrow night) on 20/20 at 10pm EST. She interviewed Thomas Beatie and his wife, who made headlines earlier this year, because Thomas was born a woman but became a man and, after his wife had a hysterectomy, he chose to carry their child since his female reproductive organs are still intact.
