My family loves burgers of all types – the guys like beef burgers while the girls prefer turkey or chicken. I’m always looking for a new way to spice up the classic fare so my interest was piqued by a segment on the Today show that demonstrated some techniques for giving burgers an Asian flair.

Today Show Makes Malaysian Spring Rolls
I love all sorts of Asian foods but I have a serious weakness for spring rolls. My husband and I make them all the time (he has his own style and I have mine) but I’m always open to hearing how I could put a fresh spin on a new classic.
Malaysian spring rolls were made on the “Today’s Kitchen” on the Today show last week and when I saw the video, I knew I had to watch it. I normally make my spring rolls with chicken but they combined beef with their veggies.

Today Show Kitche: Cooking Asian Cuisine

On the Today show, hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford, took a look at Asian cuisine. As Hoda pointed out, there are 47 countries in Asia (did you know there were that many?!) and each has their own distinct culture and cooking style which makes food from this region so diverse and flavorful.
