Dr. Oz Names Food That Can Help Your Sex Life
November 5, 2009 by Jeanne
Almost everyone is interested in how they can improve the intimacy in their lives so it’s no surprise that Dr. Oz has offered some good advice about foods that can enhance your sex life.
I can already hear some of you reaching for your grocery lists to add some items!
Here are the foods that he mentioned:
- Apples – I was thinking it might have something to do with the old adage “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” but it’s more simple than that. Apples are a natural breath freshener. Enough said.
- Garlic – apparently, garlic increases blood flow in both men and women which, of course, is a good thing during sex.
- Figs and bananas – these foods contain elements that might improve libido.
- Wild yams – these could help increase genital sensitivity which, obviously, is pretty important!
- I can’t comment on whether any of this is true but these natural techniques are a good alternative to trying more extreme measures if you just need a little boost in the bedroom.

Barbara Walters to Interview Sarah Palin
November 5, 2009 by Jeanne
Barbara Walters might have been a journalist for longer but when it comes to scoring big interviews, it’s
hard to beat the power of Oprah.
Walters is going to get her chance at needling former Alaskan governor, Sarah Palin, but not before the controversial woman sits down on Oprah in an episode airing on November 16, 2009.
To compensate, Walters’ interview will be aired in five parts on Good Morning America and will likely focus on Palin’s failed run for the White House (as John McCain’s vice president) as well as her new book, Going Rogue: An American Life.
It’s November sweeps, folks, so I’m not surprised that these two are scrambling to sit down with Palin. I’m not sure how much we are going to learn, though, since it’s hard to know whether Palin is telling the truth about anything.
I’m not saying that negatively but I just feel like there’s so much drama and secrecy surrounding her life. It would be interesting to see what she says, though.

“Paranormal Activity” Stars on The Bonnie Hunt Show
November 2, 2009 by Jeanne
Micah Sloat and Katie Featherston of the hit low-budget movie, Paranormal Activity, were on The Bonnie Hunt Show last week for Halloween and, of course, they were all dressed up.
They told Bonnie about how they got cast in the movie, which was filmed three years ago. They responded to a casting call (which was also posted on Craig’s List) and were asked to act on the spot and got the job. I’ve heard that their on-screen chemistry is fantastic (I’ve been too scared to see the movie) so I guess they picked the right people!
Jim Carrey Pokes Fun at Balloon Boy on Ellen Show
November 2, 2009 by Jeanne
Jim Carrey was on the Ellen show last week and he used the opportunity to make quite an entrance. First of all, they showed footage of the Balloon Boy hoax with the words “A Christmas Carol” on it to promote his new movie which opens on November 6, 2009.
He wasn’t anywhere to be found, though, so Ellen began searching the studio for him and eventually made her way up the stairs. Of course, he popped out of one of them and the two began dancing. What a crazy way to start an interview!

Kate Gosselin Talks With Ellen DeGeneres
October 30, 2009 by Jeanne
It was a crazy day for me yesterday since Kate Gosselin was on the Ellen show and the funny thing is that Kate has always reminded me of the talk show host. Their voice and mannerisms are similar to me. Do you see it at all?
Ellen brought out some magazines that feature Kate as their cover story and she asked her how she deals with all of it. Kate said that it’s been hard and tries to watch what she says since her children are always watching (and can always pull up videos of these interviews at a later time).
Kate insisted that she and her children have had a good experience making the show and doesn’t feel that she needs to give up the show. She also tried to speak out about Jon’s behavior and how it has made things more complicated for their family.
