Susan Boyle shot to fame when she auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent and surprised the judges who, I’m guessing, were expecting a lot less from her based on her dowdy looks (that should teach them to make assumptions about people!).  She seems to have suffered a bit after becoming popular so quickly – she even had to check in to a hospital for exhaustion.

Ryan O’Neal gave his first interview since losing his long-time love, Farrah Fawcett, on June 25, 2009 after a lengthy battle with anal cancer.   Sitting down with the Today show’s Meredith Vieira, O’Neal revealed: "[Doctors] thought that she would live just another couple of hours, and she lived a couple of days.  So I had a bed put in the room for me. And I just lay by her side. She wouldn’t — move on. She wouldn’t pass."

I love to grill and I love burgers but I don’t usually want to make them with ground beef.  I make hamburgers for my husband and my son but my daughters and I prefer to go with a nice chicken or turkey burger.  The only thing is that these can be a little dry and I find it a little harder to come up with new ways to prepare them.

Meredith Vieira visited the Tonight Show for the first time since Conan O’Brien took over.  She commented on the “nice digs” but I’ve got to say that the intro music was terrible but I digress…
