Elisabeth Hasselbeck Talks Nipple Slip and Baby Pictures
October 20, 2009 by Jeanne
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is back from maternity leave! She looked every bit the glowing new mother and she shared a really cute photo of her new son, Isaiah. She did have an embarrassing moment to share, however.
The View co-host explained that right after breastfeeding her son, he gave her the biggest smile and, wanting to capture the adorable moment, she reached for her iPhone and snapped the shot. She forwarded the picture to all of her family members only to discover that her nipple is featured prominently in the image. Yikes! I’ve definitely had a couple moments like that in my …read more
Rachael Ray, Tyra and “The View” Win Daytime Emmy Awards!
August 31, 2009 by Jeanne
It was a fun night watching the Daytime Emmy Awards last night. Did you catch the show? If not, here’s a quick rundown of how our shows and hosts fared.
I wasn’t surprised at all to see that the Tyra Banks Show won the “informative” talk show award since she is constantly trying to push the envelope to educate her viewers whether it’s a giant stuffed vagina or having pregnant prostitutes on the show to tell their stories. She really has carved out a niche for herself and I’m really happy for her.
The Rachael Ray show won the “entertainment” talk show …read more
Kathy Griffin, Kate Gosselin To Co-Host on “The View”
August 27, 2009 by Jeanne
The list of guest hosts who will be filling in for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who is currently on maternity leave, is growing by the day. It’s been announced that both Kathy Griffin and Kate Gosselin have been tapped for a seat on the daytime talk show, along with the previously announced LaToya Jackson and Victoria Beckham.
Kathy’s appearances have always been controversial and she seems to clash, to some degree, with Barbara Walters but they are always shocking and entertaining so I know viewers will tune in. The only thing that bugs me about Kathy is the timbre of her voice …read more
Elisabeth Hasselbeck Gives Birth to Baby Boy
August 10, 2009 by Jeanne
The View co-host, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, has given birth to a baby boy, her third child with husband, Tim Hasselbeck. Little Isaiah Timothy weighed in at 7lbs, 7oz and joins older siblings Grace Elisabeth (4) and Taylor Thomas (20 months). Isaiah was born in a New York hospital. Proud papa confirmed that “Elisabeth and Isaiah are doing great."
I know the baby was a surprise (she described her shock on the show back in January) but I’m sure the family is thrilled with their new addition.
Ashley Tisdale “It’s Alright, It’s OK” on The View
July 29, 2009 by Jeanne
Ashley Tisdale, who might know best as Sharpay from the High School Musical franchise, performed her new single “It’s Alright, It’s OK” on The View this morning. So, considering what the original song sounds like, this was a decent live performance but I really hate The View’s stage setup.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck commented on the fact that the sound is a lot edgier than what fans might be used to and then asked Ashley about her upcoming movie, Aliens in the Attic. Check it out:
Elisabeth Hasselbeck Sued Over Book Idea
June 23, 2009 by Jeanne
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is being sued over her book The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide. The View co-host released the book after being diagnosed with celiac disease which is an autoimmune disorder linked to gluten proteins (like the ones you’d find in wheat, barley and rye). Unfortunately, it could be that Elisabeth’s experience wasn’t her only source of inspiration for writing the book.
According to the Boston Herald, a woman named Susan Hassett sent Hasselbeck a copy of her own self-published work, Living with Celiac Disease, along with “a homemade cooking video, a personal note, a newspaper article and a business …read more
2009 Daytime Emmy Award Nominees Announced!
May 15, 2009 by Jeanne
At last, the nominees for this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards have been announced! Of course, some of our favorite talk shows and talk show hosts have been nominated so here is a list of some of the categories and nominations.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show has by far taken the crown for the most amount of nominations this year with over six of them! Rachael Ray and Dr. Phil got a good amount as well. Who are you rooting for? I have no idea who’s going to win for Outstanding Talk Show. It’s quite a close match, so it should be …read more
Third Pregnancy Different For Hasselbeck
May 4, 2009 by Jeanne
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is pregnant but The View co-host is approaching this third pregnancy very differently. She’s already got two children, Grace, 4, and son Taylor Thomas, 1, so I’m guessing there’s just a lot less time to think about being pregnant (plus she works, of course).
She recently confessed to People magazine: "I’m definitely not paying attention to my pregnancy. That won’t be true for the child [when it arrives]. But now, when you have two kids running around you’re not the pregnant person you were before. For the first pregnancy, you’re a pregnant goddess and everyone is running …read more
Pregnant Elisabeth Hasselbeck Hit By Bike
April 15, 2009 by Jeanne
On this morning’s show, pregnant Elisabeth Hasselbeck told her co-hosts on The View that she was hit by a delivery bike as she tried to hail a cab in New York City.
She explained “I text my husband ‘got hit by a bike’ and then tweeted ‘got hit by a bike’ just in case somebody found me passed out somewhere. And apparently somebody got their pizza or burger on time, because that guy was in a rush."
On Twitter, she first posted “was hit by a bike today on a sidewalk … thankfully the belly is ok. wondering how many …read more
Elisabeth Hasselbeck Launches Clothing Line
I hadn’t heard about it before but The View co-host, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, launched a new clothing line on QVC last night which is comprised of separates designed for women.
She said that she was inspired to create three-quarter length tops and Capri pants because her co-host Joy Behar regularly says that “the wrists and ankles are the last to go.” That was smart! I never heard that but it’s cool to showcase that part of a woman if it is true (it makes sense, doesn’t it?).
“I took animal to the next level,” Elisabeth said of this sheer blouse ($54.54). …read more
