Yet another woman, Crystal Matchett, has come forward with a lawsuit against Dr. Phil. She claims that Phil forced her into a room with a man that was completely naked.
Crystal claims that she was brainwashed,  was forced into the room with the naked man and in her own words claims that she "was blocked by the staff to prevent her from leaving."

Many people have wondered how Jon and Kate Gosselin, a seemingly dedicated set of parents on the show Jon and Kate Plus 8, let their marriage fall apart when they should have been able to access all of the resources in the world. 
I definitely have thought about what might have happened if they had sought marital counseling and without knowing all of the details, I assumed that they never even tried.

I know these are tabloid reports and you can’t really trust them but, once in a while, the National Enquirer is actually right so I’ve at least got to mention this.
According to the magazine, Dr. Phil has fired 30 staff members abruptly in his latest backstage meltdown.  Apparently, the show began with 250 staffers and is now down to around 100. 
First of all, I’m not sure how that could be true since I’d imagine it takes more than 100 people to produce this show.

At last, the nominees for this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards have been announced! Of course, some of our favorite talk shows and talk show hosts have been nominated so here is a list of some of the categories and nominations.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show has by far taken the crown for the most amount of nominations this year with over six of them! Rachael Ray and Dr. Phil got a good amount as well. Who are you rooting for? Talk show host, Dr. Phil McGraw, along with his wife, Robyn, and eldest son, Jay, attended the American Red Cross of Santa Monica’s “Red Tie Affair” which was held at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel.  Guests were asked to wear red as part of their ensemble and it looks like the three of them got it right!  They look really good and I think Robyn looks fantastic in that dress!

When I first read on TMZ that Dr. Phil and his wife, Robin, were being sued by a skin care company, I couldn’t understand the connection but, after  reading some of the details, I can see what happened.
Apparently, the couple have been named in a $4 million lawsuit stemming from when Robin allegedly promised Miracle Hydrate skin company that she’d feature their creams and lotions on Dr. Phil but, obviously, that never happened.

Dr. Phil stopped by the Letterman Show last night where they talked about a number of things, including children and parenting.  Of course, Letterman had some crazy things to say.

Dr. Phil and his wife, Robin, told the Ladies Home Journal that they do not consider divorce to be an option for them, dispelling rumors that the couple is on the outs.  I have to agree (and I am a remarried person so I’d like to think that I speak from some experience) that as soon as you think of divorce as a possible solution, it becomes more and more difficult to weigh the other options when things get rough.

On today’s Dr Phil, he sat down with a couple who seemed to have it all.  A nice home, three healthy sons and more but their lives were shattered when it turned out that Shani was cheating with her friend’s husband.  Her husband, Jason, doesn’t believe it’s the end of the world and wants to save the marriage.

Dr. Phil was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night where he talked about the polygamist sect that was raided in his home state of Texas.  He gave some background information on it and they talked about why people join the group (it was kind of funny!).
I was surprised that almost the whole interview was all about polygamy and how tax dollars go to supporting the practice.  Watch the interview:
