Can a DNA Test Predict a Bad Heart?

On CNN, they talked about genetic testing that could make it possible for doctors to identify patients who are predisposed to cardiac problems. It makes you wonder if too much information is a good or bad thing? On the one hand, it can be a valuable tool that can be used preventatively to improve people’s lives. On the other hand, science isn’t perfect and a negative test result could cause someone to be concerned (or even scared) for no reason. Watch the segment and decide for yourself:

With most of the world suffering from a recession, to some degree, students are feeling the pinch. While it is no secret that those seeking higher education have always suffered from a lack of money, it’s gotten even worse now. CNN’s American Morning looked at the issue and, I will admit, that I didn’t realize some schools were refusing to accept student loans (if students can even qualify for them).
