Martha Stewart Tells Jessica Simpson to Get New Dog
September 19, 2009 by Jeanne
Jessica Simpson’s dog was recently taken by a coyote right in front of her and she has offered a reward for the safe return of the pup. Martha Stewart, a well known dog lover, weighed in on the situation.
"It’s pretty sad," Stewart told Usmagazine.com. "She should have watched it more closely, though. She should have been more careful."
She did have some advice for the singer. "Get another dog," Stewart said. "I think it’s very important to get another dog, someone else to love. You just have to find the dog that’s the right match for you."

After a listening party for Whitney Houston’s upcoming album I Look To You, talk show host Martha Stewart tweeted the following: "Whitney Houston singing and performing better than ever last night!!"
She also talked about the atmosphere at the event and wrote: "ALICIA KEYS WROTE ONE OF THE SONGS. She danced while it played. L.A. Reid, Dionne Warwick, Whitney’s mom Missy, and lots of other friends, family" (she later corrected herself and said that Whitney’s mother’s name is actually Cissy).

Martha Stewart’s Zesty Chicken Burgers
July 16, 2009 by Jeanne
I love to grill and I love burgers but I don’t usually want to make them with ground beef. I make hamburgers for my husband and my son but my daughters and I prefer to go with a nice chicken or turkey burger. The only thing is that these can be a little dry and I find it a little harder to come up with new ways to prepare them.
I was thrilled when Martha Stewart made some “zesty” chicken burgers on the Today show but I have to say that I’m a little surprised that neither Meredith Vieira nor Matt …read more
Martha Stewart Comes to Mariah Carey’s Defense
June 26, 2009 by Jeanne
Yesterday, Perez Hilton, called Mariah Carey “unprofessional” and a “major diva” because (according to his “sources”) she was several hours late for a video shoot for a Macy’s commercial which infuriated the other celebrities including Donald Trump and Jessica Simpson.
Meanwhile, Martha Stewart who was a major part of the production had been tweeting updates from the video shoot all morning. I thought it was amazing when she tweeted: "by the way mariah did not keep us waiting as reported by perez hilton the shoo[t] is on schedule thanks to [director Barry] sonnenfeld’s complete command."
I am so glad that Martha …read more
Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray Share on iGoogle
June 3, 2009 by Jeanne
Google has launched a new project called iGoogle Showcase and it looks pretty cool from what I can tell. Basically, it’s a collection of links to the personalized iGoogle homepages of celebrities and features some of their favorite content. Among the growing list of stars on iGoogle are daytime talk show hosts, Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray.
What’s on their iGoogle pages? Martha created an iGoogle theme just for her beloved dogs, she has a picture of them on her Picasa gadget and she reads O’Reilly’s Radar to keep up with what’s happening in the world of technology. Her other …read more

Martha Stewart Criticizes Ryan Seacrest’s Green Room
April 22, 2009 by Jeanne
Martha Stewart visited the radio show of American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest but she didn’t have great things to say about his “Green Room.” She went on and on about how everything in the room was grey except for the curtains which contained a bit of green which, she believed, had been chosen out of guilt because the rest of the room wasn’t green.
She then added that her Green Room for the Martha Stewart Show is beautiful because it has Martha Stewart furniture, the rug is luxurious and the walls are actually a greenish color. WOW.
At least she …read more
Daytime Talk Show Hosts Remember Natasha Richardson
March 19, 2009 by Jeanne
After the shocking and tragic death of Natasha Richardson yesterday, daytime talk show hosts and other celebrities (and us common folks) began remembering the actress who was fatally injured in a skiing accident near Montreal, Quebec on Monday. Here are some of the quotes I’ve heard/read:
Oprah Winfrey: "I just want to say how deeply saddened I am, we all are, by the sudden passing of actress Natasha Richardson yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband Liam Neeson, their two sons, the rest of their family and friends. Yet another reminder of how fleeting life can be and …read more

Martha Stewart is mourning the loss of her pet chow chow, Genghis Khan. The poor little animal was killed when a propane delivery at an elite kennel went wrong, caused an explosion and killed almost two dozen dogs.
The blast took place at a Carbon County kennel in Pennsylvania and some of the victims included show dogs. The delivery man and some police officers were burned when they tried to rescue as many dogs as they could.
Martha, who is clearly devastated by the news, wrote about the loss on her blog and twittered her appreciation to …read more
