Barbara Walters to Interview Sarah Palin
November 5, 2009 by Jeanne
Barbara Walters might have been a journalist for longer but when it comes to scoring big interviews, it’s hard to beat the power of Oprah.
Walters is going to get her chance at needling former Alaskan governor, Sarah Palin, but not before the controversial woman sits down on Oprah in an episode airing on November 16, 2009.
To compensate, Walters’ interview will be aired in five parts on Good Morning America and will likely focus on Palin’s failed run for the White House (as John McCain’s vice president) as well as her new book, Going Rogue: An American Life.

Rachael Ray, Tyra and “The View” Win Daytime Emmy Awards!
August 31, 2009 by Jeanne
It was a fun night watching the Daytime Emmy Awards last night. Did you catch the show? If not, here’s a quick rundown of how our shows and hosts fared.
I wasn’t surprised at all to see that the Tyra Banks Show won the “informative” talk show award since she is constantly trying to push the envelope to educate her viewers whether it’s a giant stuffed vagina or having pregnant prostitutes on the show to tell their stories. She really has carved out a niche for herself and I’m really happy for her.
The Rachael Ray show won the “entertainment” talk show …read more

At last, the nominees for this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards have been announced! Of course, some of our favorite talk shows and talk show hosts have been nominated so here is a list of some of the categories and nominations.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show has by far taken the crown for the most amount of nominations this year with over six of them! Rachael Ray and Dr. Phil got a good amount as well. Who are you rooting for? I have no idea who’s going to win for Outstanding Talk Show. It’s quite a close match, so it should be …read more

Joy Behar, one of the co-hosts on daytime talk show, The View, has revealed that she might get married to her long-time boyfriend, Steve Janowitz.
On the SIRIUS XM Radio show of fellow co-host, Barbara Walters, Joy said "I have been with a guy for 26-and-a-half years… Somebody that I know lost her partner. They were gay women. Was Rush out of line to make those comments? Watch this video and decide for yourself.
Another thing that they talked about are the rumors that Rihanna has taken her boyfriend, Chris Brown, back after he allegedly assaulted her. Specifically, they mentioned that Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, has decided to stand behind any decision she makes. I have to admit that …read more

Barbara Walters at LAX for SAG Awards
January 26, 2009 by Jeanne
Barbara Walters was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) this weekend. She was in town to attend the 2009 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards.
Barbara seems to be in good spirits and I like the red jacket that she chose. It’s so interesting to look at pictures in Los Angeles (for me, at least). You will see someone wearing a jacket and scarf like Barbara while there are other people wearing t-shirts (like that man pushing his luggage). Anyway, I hope she had a great time!

Hot Topics on The View – January 12, 2009
January 12, 2009 by Jeanne
This morning on The View, host Elisabeth Hasselbeck talked about her visit to the White House and showed pictures of her children interacting with President Bush (one of her kids headbutted the president). Barbara Walters and Elisabeth both talked about how they hope people can be respectful of Bush as he prepares to leave office. There was some humorous banter about Barbara stealing things from the White House.
Whoopi Goldberg also talked about the fact that Paul McCartney will be on the show later this week and they mentioned how rare it is for him to do live interviews.

Barbara Walters: Pregnant Man is Pregnant Again!
Barbara Walters talked, on The View, this morning about the special, "What Is a Man, What Is a Woman? Journey of a Pregnant Man,” which airs on Friday (tomorrow night) on 20/20 at 10pm EST. She interviewed Thomas Beatie and his wife, who made headlines earlier this year, because Thomas was born a woman but became a man and, after his wife had a hysterectomy, he chose to carry their child since his female reproductive organs are still intact. Confused yet?
Naturally, the pregnancy raised a number of questions but, following the birth, I didn’t hear too much about it. …read more
