Oprah isn’t the only daytime talk show host launching a great summer giveaway!  Ellen DeGeneres has introduced her “Beat The Heat Watch & Win Challenge.”

 
The contest is easy – all you have to do is watch Ellen this summer for a chance to win BIG prizes!  Watch each episode closely and then go to the contest page and answer the two questions (a winner will be chosen randomly from those who answered the questions correctly).  That’s it!  A new prize will be given away every day so there are plenty of chances to win!

Participants will also be entered into the drawing for the Grand Prize which is an all expenses paid trip for two to Hollywood  along with VIP tickets to attend a taping of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”  How awesome is that?!

Oprah Winfrey has launched a watch-and-win style sweepstakes which was announced on Oprah.com.  It’s a really clever way to keep ratings up over the summer since viewers will have to watch three months of reruns in search of the “Word of the Day” clue they will need to have a chance at winning “Oprah’s Summer Giveaway.” 

Viewers can submit the word on Oprah.com with a chance at winning a daily, weekly or grand prize.  The loot is pretty good since Oprah teamed up with Target, GE, Sony, United and Volkswagen to give away the prizes.

Everyone has been talking about Gordon Ramsay’s new cookbook “Fast Food.”  The superstar chef from Britain, who is probably best known as the “tyrant” from Hell’s Kitchen, has come up with a collection of delicious, often healthy meals that are quick and relatively easy to make.
