The Dr. Oz Show Has Become a Hit!

After Oprah Winfrey has given others such as Rachael Ray and Dr. Phil a chance to shine with their own television shows, it seems like her newest project, The Dr. Oz Show  is headed for great success as well!

Sony’s president of distribution John Weiser, said of the show, “Dr. Oz is a man of the people. Viewers feel connected to him, and they really engage with the information he delivers. The timing is right for Dr. Oz.”

He continued, “The American public is more interested in their health than ever before and with the difficult economy, a lot of people want to take control of their own health care and understand simple but smart ways to take better care of themselves.”

The Dr. Oz Show has taken the #3 place, following The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Dr. Phil Show – and it’s just the show’s second week of airing! It’s also been improving some network’s afternoon news as the lead-in show.

Wow! Congratulations to Dr. Oz! It’s great to see him doing well with his own show, especially after how much audiences loved him on The Oprah Winfrey Show!
