Daniel Radcliffe Promotes Harry Potter on Regis and Kelly

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince star, Daniel Radcliffe, was on Live With Regis and Kelly where he discussed the film which opens on July 15, 2009.  I’m so excited!

The audience seemed very enthused to see the British actor (it must be nice to have such a warm welcome).  He told Regis and Kelly that he would be turning 20 in a couple weeks and Regis remarked that he would no longer be a teenager.  Daniel replied “yeah, I might as well give it all up now.”  Too funny!

He also talked about his stint on Broadway in the gritty play, Equus, which required him to be fully naked at one point.  It’s a very dark story about a disturbed young man and his horse (among many other things) so it was quite a leap from playing the boy wizard!

Regis also asked about what type of women fascinate the star.  He said that he likes somebody who can make him laugh, is intelligent and slightly mad and eccentric.  He addressed the rumors that he likes older women and Kelly made an attempt to get closer to him in mock interest.  Ever the gentleman, Daniel said “I should be so lucky, Kelly.”  That got some sighs from the audience!

Of course, he talked about the film as well as the one they are currently working on, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.  He told a story about a stunt gone wrong and how he ended up getting hurt.  It ended up being a slightly funny story, actually.  Anyway, enough of my blabbering, check out the interview:
