Sherri Shepherd Reveals Diet Cheats on Twitter
I’m always saying that people reveal way too much on Twitter and now Sherri Shepherd has proven that celebrities aren’t immune to getting in trouble because of it.
Sherry wants to be swimsuit ready by August 6, 2009 so that she can show off her slimmed down summer body on The View.
If you follow Sherry on Twitter, you will know that, over this past weekend, she "messed up a little last night … had fried calamari and fried catfish – gotta stay away from the soul food! Back on track today – gym at 3 pm."
Naturally, her personal trainer spotted her junk food update prompting Sherry to later tweet: "Ain’t this a blip! I was planning on fibbing 2 my trainer & nutritional coach about what I ate this weekend – but they follow me."
Yesterday on the show, Sherry shared the experience with the audience and her fellow co-hosts: "this weekend, I was out in L.A., and I’m tweeting about [how] I had fried calamari and I had some buffalo wings and I just went totally off my diet. And it was great! I did not know that my nutritional coach and my trainer follow me."
She seems to have learned her lesson about her diet AND about Twitter: "[I] ordered chicken legs and thighs … the evil one (my trainer) made me take the skin off. Had a side of steamed veggies. Gave in w/diet Pepsi… You just assume when you tweet that you’re tweeting to people far away, not the person – your neighbor across the hall. I wish my coach would have not tweeted because she’s coming here tomorrow to get on me about what I ate."

Sherri, the Diet Pepsi has been my hardest to give up and it took a month of weaning myself off. Now I am drinking water, iced tea, and fruit juice. My sleeping is sooo much better and I don’t feel the “bloat”.
