Regis Philbin Attends Disney & ABC Press Junket
Daytime talk show host, Regis Philbin, attended the Disney & ABC Television Group Summer Press Junket at the ABC offices in Burbank, CA over the weekend and I think he looked really spectacular. I’m not sure I would have picked those colors but he looks tanned and healthy. It’s hard to believe that we all thought he might retire last year after he had heart surgery. I’m happy he’s looking so well and is working as hard as ever!

My name is Kari Henderson and I have an amazing story to tell: My friend Kim Brown gave birth to a baby girl on 9-17-89, her name is Ashley Brown.Ashley was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease. Kim is a single parent and has had more than her share of countless dr appts, trips to hospitals, endless phone calls to health insurances, I could go on and on but this story is so unique. Against all odds Ashley has grown up into a beautiful inteligent and giving 20 yr old woman, thanks to the GOD, her mother, family and friends.from 05 up to her life saving phone call of receivng the liver and kidney transplant in 07, Ashley has endured HOME DYALYSIS, while attending a full class schedul and actully graduated high school with her class mates only she wasn’t ther to receive her diploma on stage, Ashley was actually in the HOPSPITAL getter her transplant and via telephone heard her name announced and all the cheers from the actual graduation ceremony of course she recieved a standing ovation. since her transplant she has finally got to be a normal young lady, belly piercing, dating, sociallizing and now community college. there is sooo much more to tell about this story, please see Ashleys myspace for photos of her surgerys etc. At this very moment Ashley is in S.F. due to her kidneys being border line rejection, I feel that appearing on your show would give her some much needed support and may give her the strenth she will need incase GOD FORBID her kidney rejects. Ashley is in community college and has hopes of going to a great college so she can work in the medical field and give hope to paitents that are going thru what she endured, this is such a amazing family, they have a grandmother they care for with Alzhimers, Kim Ashleys mother cares for her full tiim along with all of the regualr chores of running a house hold, they have had to recover from a house fire, other family members abandoning them, and thru it all Kim and Ashley reamain loving and caring people who constantly care for their community, the homeless and all of their family and friends.
