Beyoncé Talks New Movie, Performs on Today Show

Multi-talented performer, Beyoncé Knowles, was on the Today show this morning where she talked about her new movie Obsessed.  In the movie, she plays a woman who initially believes that her husband is having an affair with a temp worker from his job.  Soon, though, it becomes clear that the woman is stalking her husband and suddenly poses a threat to their safety. 

Matt Lauer mentioned that critics hailed her performances in Dreamgirls and Cadillac Records but they also wondered if she had done a good job because it was so similar to her own life (in both films, she was a singer in the music industry).  He asked her if she chose the role in Obsessed because it was different (I’m guessing he didn’t see her in Austin Powers in Goldmember).

She also performed her new single “Halo” (see the performance).
