Are Education Costs Unrealistic for Students?

February 23, 2009 by Jeanne

With most of the world suffering from a recession, to some degree, students are feeling the pinch.  While it is no secret that those seeking higher education have always suffered from a lack of money, it’s gotten even worse now.  CNN’s American Morning looked at the issue and, I will admit, that I didn’t realize some schools were refusing to accept student loans (if students can even qualify for them).

How do they expect people to pay tuition?  This is a sad day because, with a lack of educated youth, I worry about our ability to have a strong workforce in the future.  Some colleges have either frozen tuition increases or tried to minimize them but is it enough?  I don’t think so.
