Oprah, Tyra and The View Nominated for 2009 NAACP Awards

The Tyra Banks Show is nominated against The View for “Outstanding Talk” (series) at the upcoming 2009 NAACP Image Awards which will air on February 12, 2009 on Fox (8pm).  They will square off against "Iconoclasts: Venus Williams & Wyclef Jean," "Judge Mathis" and "Tavis Smiley."

The Oprah Winfrey Show is nominated in the “Outstanding News/ Information” (series or special) category for both "An Oprah Winfrey Show Special Event: The Dream Lives – A Martin Luther King Day Special" and "In Conversation: Michelle Obama Interview."  It is competing against "American Gangster," "Anderson Cooper 360: Race in America” and "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel."
