Etheridge Accuses Hasselbeck of Misleading People About Gay Marriage

Singer, Melissa Etheridge, was on The View yesterday where she talked about how sad she was to see the right to marry taken away from gay and lesbian couples at last month’s presidential election.  Melissa commended moderator, Whoopi Goldberg, for her words on the subject but she told Elisabeth Hasselbeck that she was disappointed in the things she had to say and even accused Elisabeth of being misleading. 

Melissa continued to defend her family’s right to be protected by marriage and she pressed Elisabeth on the topic but was ultimately interrupted since time ran out and Sherri Shepherd reminded Melissa that she was on the show to talk about her new CD.  Wow… I wish that conversation could have continued!
