Ellen Slams Sarah Palin Over Gay Marriage

I immediately thought of Ellen Degeneres, who was recently married to her longtime partner, Portia De Rossi, when I hear that Republican Vice Presidential nominee, Governor Sarah Palin was supporting a federal ban on gay marriage.  She took aim at the VP hopeful on her show and said: “Maybe it’s just because I’m gay that I think we should all be equal, but I feel that we’re all created equal.” 

I was surprised that Palin came out and said that even though it is not aligned with the opinion of her running mate, Senator John McCain.  It’s just not smart, in my opinion, to show a lack of unity in your partnership with the person with whom you are campaigning for the U.S. presidency.  Oh well.  Watch Ellen’s reaction to Palin:
