Giada Shares Her Italian Meatball Recipe!

Today show correspondent, Giada DeLaurentiis, shared her take on the traditional Italian meatball with Matt Lauer. Instead of beef, she used ground chicken (which he liked a lot and so do I since I don’t eat ground beef) and then browned them, sauteed them with tomatoes and then tossed in some pasta. It was interesting because she used a melon baller to shape the meatballs so they were little and she explained that when you make them that size, you should pair them with a small pasta as well. Makes sense!
