Bill Maher Accuses Sherri Shepherd of Child Abuse?

Okay, so we know that Sherri Shepherd of The View is not the sharpest tool in the shed but do you think that equates to child abuse? I’m not sure but the ever politically incorrect, Bill Maher, seems to think it does. Here’s what he said:
She’s “the one who said the Earth isn’t round? First, we know it’s round because, like Sherri Shepherd, we can see it from space,” Maher quips.
“Secondly, to me this is child abuse. If you [can’t] tell your children if the Earth is flat or not … this is why this country is in such trouble. We’re bringing up ignorant children because they have ignorant parents.”
Ouch! What do you think of this argument? Are parents who are uninformed really guilty of child abuse?
