Whoopi Goldberg Returning to Broadway

Whoopi Goldberg is going back to Broadway.  This morning she announced on The View that she would be appearing in “Xanadu,” the Tony award-nominated roller-skating musical, as one of the evil sisters.  Whoopi is no stranger to Broadway – she’s been in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom,” “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” and her own one-woman show.

Her six-week run begins on July 29, 2008.
