Boy George Discusses Having Visa Denied

image Boy George, who you may remember from his 80s songs “Karma Chameleon” and “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?” has been denied a visa to work in the U.S. just before he was set to start a 24-date tour in the States. 

The main reason he’s been given for the denial is the fact that he is currently fighting charges that he imprisoned and assaulted a male escort (wow).  The U.S. government feels that he could be a threat.  To his credit, Boy George is remaining very upbeat on the matter.  It was an interesting interview.  Watch it here:
