George Carlin Remembered on Today Show

Legendary comedian, George Carlin, died yesterday of heart failure.  I was really shocked and saddened by the news.  He was one of my favorite comics and so much of what he has said in his comedy has stuck in my head over the years (during a recent move, I went into a tirade about having too much stuff and referenced Carlin who had famously poked fun at humans for being too materialistic).  He had just performed in Las Vegas last week.

The Today Show reviewed his life from his humble beginnings on the Tonight Show, his appearance as the very first host of Saturday Night Live and the many, many other things he has accomplished over the years.  Watch it here:
