New Kids on the Block on Today Show: Video

The New Kids on the Block performed for the first time in fifteen years this morning on the Today show. They did a medley of “Step by Step” “Hanging Tough,” their new song “Summertime” along with some more classic hits like “Please Don’t Girl Girl” and an updated version of “The Right Stuff.”
Joey McIntyre was a bit off to me but I was thrilled to see Jordan Knight looking as good as ever. When I see them, I am reduced to a junior high school girl all over again. I’ve followed Jordan really closely over the years and, of course, I’m sure many of you have seen Joey on Dancing with the Stars. Donnie Wahlberg (older brother of one of my favorite actors, Mark Wahlberg), Donny Wood and Jon Knight all looked great too!

I thought the performance was decent, especially given how long it has been since they performed together and their styles and voices have changed so much since then!

Good for them! I’m sure they must have been really nervous, though. And they must have been happy to have a bunch of females screaming for them again. This comeback has already gotten them a lot of renewed attention, so hopefully they can prosper.
