William Shatner on The View – Video
Canadian actor, William Shatner, was on The View this morning to talk about his autobiography “Up Till Now” and it was pretty funny (he was also on Conan O’Brien last night).
I’m very fond of him because I’m not only a huge Star Trek fan but I also attended the same acting school that he did in Montreal (not at the same time and possibly not to my advantage since he’s known for his bad acting, ha ha).
He told a hilarious story about how he was asked to do a Playboy photoshoot and didn’t tell his wife about it but the women on The View somehow knew about it and blew his cover. He claims it was innocent but Whoopi Goldberg
clearly didn’t buy his explanation! They all had a great laugh about it though. In fact, the whole interview was pretty comical. He even talked about donating a kidney stone and the fact that many of his former Star Trek castmates hate him (he thinks it’s time for them to let it go – I agree!).
About his autobiography, he said that he wrote it for his family as a legacy and it includes what he would like them to know about him. It sounds like an interesting novel (buy a copy here!). The entire audience got a copy – lucky!
