American Idol Vocal Coach on The Early Show – Video

The vocal coach of David Archuleta, one of the Top 3 contestants on this seventh season of American Idol was on The Early Show this morning where he talked about the controversy surrounding David’s father, Jeff Archuleta.  The coach, Dean Kaelin, claims that after six years of knowing the family, he’s never seen anything that would substantiate all the claims and maintains that the only reason Jeff has been asked to stay away from the backstage area is because Idol doesn’t want to give David an unfair advantage over the other two remaining contestants, David Cook and Syesha Mercado who do not have someone behind-the-scenes providing guidance and support.  Do you believe that story?
