Joy Behar was on Larry King Live last night where she talked about Miley Cyrus and the Vanity Fair photoshoot that has been causing so much controversy this past days.  Joy, a co-host on The View had some eyebrow-raising comments about Miley and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus.  I’m not sure I agree with her but I’m glad people are talking about teen stars and how they are treated and portrayed nowadays.

Dr. Phil was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night where he talked about the polygamist sect that was raided in his home state of Texas.  He gave some background information on it and they talked about why people join the group (it was kind of funny!).

I was surprised that almost the whole interview was all about polygamy and how tax dollars go to supporting the practice.  Watch the interview:

Robert Downey Jr. was on Good Morning America yesterday where he discussed his upcoming movie Iron Man (I am so excited!).  I am very happy to see him doing so well since he really had some dark times.  It’s pretty incredible to think of the struggles he has had with substance abuse and then here he is at 43 years of age starring as an action hero! 

It didn’t come easy, however.  He recounts how difficult it was for him to get considered for the part and how director Jon Favreau actually told him that he doubted he would get the part.

Multi-talented star, Hilary Duff, was on Live with Regis and Kelly where she talked about dating NHL hockey star, Mike Comrie, and her new movie War, Inc. 

She was a brunette in the movie and it looked okay in the clip they showed but her current hair color looks sooo nice (even nicer than before).  I really think Hilary has matured and is starting to come into her own so it was nice to watch the interview.

American Idol season six finalist, Phil Stacey, was on the Today show yesterday where he talked about his new album and single “If You Didn’t Love Me.”  Host Ann Curry also asked about his experience in the Navy.

American Idol’s most recently eliminated contestant (what a shock!), Carly Smithson, was on Live with Regis and Kelly this morning where she talked about her tattoos, her husband, working with Mariah Carey and her relationship with Idol judge, Simon Cowell (among other things).  Carly looked and sounded great on the show.
