Kirstie Alley Signs Contract with Oprah

People magazine is reporting that actress, Kirstie Alley, has signed a deal with Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions to develop television projects.  “Kirstie is a tremendous talent who is incredibly relatable and a true fan favorite,” said Tim Bennett, president of Harpo Productions.  As for Kirstie, she says she is hoping her willingness to be honest and open will come together to help her “offer something totally fresh for the television audience.”

Could a daytime talk show be in the works?  I like Kirstie but I’m not sure I’m ready for more talk shows.  What do you think?
