Simon Cowell on Oprah – Video

Simon Cowell was on Oprah yesterday and it was pretty funny to hear him describe his relationship with Paula Abdul and Ryan Seacrest.  Oprah said that she’s always like Simon because he says what people want to say.  To his credit, he says that he just tries to give people good advice.

Later, Simon allowed Oprah’s cameras to follow him behind-the-scenes on American Idol.  They went to Ryan’s dressing room which was considerably smaller than Simon’s.  Hilarious!

Simon made me cry at one point because there was a family who were struggling to pay for their home since their 3-year-old daughter became very sick.  Simon personally paid for their $162,000 mortgage (he barely got a hug, by the way.  I’m sure they are grateful but it didn’t look it…).
