Celeb Tots is reporting that Today show correspondent and celebrity chef, Giada De Laurentiis, is the new mother of a baby girl! 

“De Laurentiis and husband Todd Thompson welcomed their first child, a healthy baby girl, on Saturday March 29 in Los Angeles,” her rep tells People. “Jade Marie De Laurentiis Thompson weighed in at 5lbs, 13oz.”

This is the first baby for Giada and Tom, who have been married since 2003. 

Congratulations to them both!  I hope she gets over the shock of becoming a mother faster than she accepted being pregnant.  You might remember what she said when she made that announcement: “When I found out I was pregnant I was in complete shock.  I truly didn’t believe it. I honestly thought, ‘There has got to be a mistake.’”

International singing star, Kylie Minogue, was on the Today show this morning.  There was a great montage chronicling her career over the years.  She was embarrassed by the footage of her video for “The Locomotion” and I was disappointed by that because that’s what made me love her! 

Anyway, she discussed her public battle with breast cancer and the upcoming release of her 10th album.  Watch the interview:

American Idol’s most recently eliminated contestant, Chikezie, was on Live with Regis and Kelly this morning where he was interviewed and performed.  Watch the video:

Wow.  I really didn’t think it was going to be a real “pimp” but he was.  Jason Itzler told the ladies on The View this morning about how he was called the “King of All Pimps” and about his new job as a matchmaker.  The best part?  When he explained that there are different levels of “pimpness.”  He’s also connected with the call girl hired by Elliot Spitzer.

I really like R.E.M. and I was happy to see the group’s story featured on the CBS Early Show.  They are releasing a new album this week and the creative process of this album was discussed. 

Lead singer, Michael Stipe, also responded to the claims that he is now the “Grand Old Man of College Rock” (how rude!).  I loved his answer and I hope this album is a great success for them!

Wow… earlier this week on Maury, Ricktoria and Clinton returned for their third visit to the show!  In case you aren’t familiar with them, Ricktoria has forgiven Clinton twice already for cheating with her mother and trying to get her pregnant.  Now…the tables are turned and Ricktoria has a secret of her own.  Watch this:

Fox News covered the story about the false documents used by the Los Angeles Times in their article alleging that Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, was behind an attack on the late rapper, Tupac Shakur.  Wow… Well, I loved Tupac and I remember a documentary where he accused Diddy of leaving him to die after he was shot (not the time when he was reportedly killed).  The documents might be fake but the questions still remain for me.

Courtney Cox was on Ellen this morning where they talked about the last time Courtney was over at Ellen’s house when they played Pictionary.  They also talked about her daughter, Coco, and whether Courtney and hubby, David Arquette, want more children.  She looks amazing!

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were on the Today show to discuss their new documentary, “Shine a Light” about their band, The Rolling Stones, which is being directed by Martin Scorsese.  I tried not to say this but Keith looks absolutely terrible.  It’s kind of sad, actually.
