Valerie Bertinelli was on The Oprah Winfrey show where she talked about her weight loss, her new book and her divorce from Eddie Van Halen. There was a completely surreal segment where she talks about her husband’s infidelity and the encounter she had with an angry man whose wife was having an affair with Eddie.

wow, valerie is normal like the rest of us…go figure..
My life has resembled valeries one day at a time. My moms name is barbara a married a schneider and one of my best childhood friends shelly dunavan reminded me of valerie and her mother had short red hair and looked like bonnie cooper. My mom to is struggling with her weight all her life and i am living with her and my young son Nicholas Anthony who I named after a rock star Nikki Sixx I too am still in love with him and would marry him in a heartbeat. I have a 20th class reuinion coming up in august and I too have at least 4o pounds to drop by then. I was teased relentlsly in high school i was called miss piggy etc and it worked on my self esteem until this day. I seen the real van halen last november in chicago and got married last july 7,07 to my babys father. It was a disaster we should have never gotten married I thought it was too late for me. He was jealous and insecure and verbally abused me I ate and used drugs to kill the pain. As i was watching valerie i seen myself and have looked up to her all my life. she was the good girl and everyone thought i was bad cause i was loud and met all my stars but i didnt lose my virginity until 19 and it was to a band member who i was in love with well anyway i want to meet valerie and oprah and be a big inspiration for all my other friends out there. i want to move back home to my childhood home which my mom still owns and she wants to leave florida and move to tn where i moved when i was 19 for 10 months cause i wanted to be around music and work for a record label. i left home to soon now i am starting over and trying to live on limited means and get a divorce. Iknow if i stay positive and think of valerie and what she has done I know I can do it one day at a time. and raise my son by myself and stay sober. thank you oprah and valerie. p.s. i still have all my rock magazines and videos that i have kepts since 1982 along with all my circus mags that eddie won guitarist of the year that valerie was talking about i have them all!! and i own a bass to boot i love you valerie and oprah thank you for the inspiration to go on and live our best lives.!! sincerely, julie mullen i hope jenny is not to expensive!!!
