Joran Van der Sloot Confession – Video
February 4, 2008 by Jeanne
The circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Natalee Holloway have never been uncovered but all of that may have changed due to what appears to be a videotaped confession by long-time suspect, Joran Van der Sloot. We can thank Dutch investigative reporter, Peter de Vries, who used a complicated hidden-camera system to capture the conversation with a man who was posing as a friend to Joran Van der Sloot. Joran describes a believable, tragis story – he and Natalee were together and she went into convulsions after having too much to drink. Afraid, Joran calls his friends instead of 9-1-1 and one of them comes to his rescue and dumps Natalee’s body into the sea. Joran admits that, while she seemed lifeless, he is not sure that she was dead. How horrible!
Joran Van der Sloot has been arrested and released three times for his suspected involvement in the Holloway’s disappearance. Joran has said that he was lying to this “friend” to impress him and that the confession is not real.
Watch the video from Good Morning America and judge for yourself:

Drinking too much of what? Gasoline? No that Rat bastard should go to jail for life.

Hey guys, this blog has been covering the dutch media on her disappearance. Apparently Joran’s lawyers just offered a deal to the prosecutors.

Not only should Joran be put in prison for life, but I am running off as many MSG employees as possible. Cutting sales reps pay, losing branch managers or firing them for no reason when they are making their numbers etc. Doug and I have done a wonderful job of not helping this company go public.
What is the law, in this situation? Will this confession count?
This confession was made with no lawyer present, is it still considered a confession? Would Joran need his Miranda rights read to him, before this confession would be admissible in court?
I am not really familiar with all the fine points of the law, or if the laws in Aruba differ that much, from other countries.
