The circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Natalee Holloway have never been uncovered but all of that may have changed due to what appears to be a videotaped confession by long-time suspect, Joran Van der Sloot.  We can thank Dutch investigative reporter, Peter de Vries, who used a complicated hidden-camera system to capture the conversation with a man who was posing as a friend to Joran Van der Sloot.  Joran describes a believable, tragis story - he and Natalee were together and she went into convulsions after having too much to drink.  Afraid, Joran calls his friends instead of 9-1-1 and one of them comes to his rescue and dumps Natalee’s body into the sea.  Joran admits that, while she seemed lifeless, he is not sure that she was dead.  How horrible!

Joran Van der Sloot has been arrested and released three times for his suspected involvement in the Holloway’s disappearance.  Joran has said that he was lying to this “friend” to impress him and that the confession is not real.

Nick Stern a former photographer for Splash News resigned from his position over how Britney Spears is pursued and treated.  He described a situation that led to his resignation and I have to say that I agree with him 100%.  I think that the way Britney Spears is hounded by paparazzi is dangerous and definitely has contributed to her poor mental state.  I also think she is treated far more aggressively than any other celebrity at the moment.

Ryan Sheckler from the “Life of Ryan” talks about how he got started with skateboarding (they even showed some amazing clips from when he was about 4 or 5 years old).  He also discussed how he was a bit of a “problem child” and that skateboarding essentially saved his life.

Ryan’s parents are getting divorced and he has chosen to cover how he is dealing with it on his show.  He wants to set a good example for other kids who are going through similar family problems.  He really was a sweetie pie (and he’s just 18).

Oprah Winfrey had matchmaker, Patty Novak, on to talk about why people cannot find love.  She’s brutally honest and discusses her show “Confessions of a Matchmaker.” 

This, honestly, was a funny episode (I actually like her show as well).  I think that, for some people, her rough approach is really necessary.
