Valerie Bertinelli was on The Oprah Winfrey show where she talked about her weight loss, her new book and her divorce from Eddie Van Halen.  There was a completely surreal segment where she talks about her husband’s infidelity and the encounter she had with an angry man whose wife was having an affair with Eddie.

Courtney Cox-Arquette was on Live with Regis and Kelly this morning and Courtney’s daughter Coco was with her (even though they didn’t show her).  Courtney talked about the fact that she takes Coco to Disneyland so often that they should consider getting a place down in Anaheim!  That’s amazing!

They also discussed Courtney’s show “Dirt” which is about celebrities and paparazzi.  It’s really a big change from the role she played on Friends which was mostly comedy.  Sometimes I wonder if people miss their old shows, especially if they were on there for a while.  For example, I know Kelly Ripa is happy as a daytime talk show host but I wonder if she ever misses playing Hayley Santos on All My Children.  I loved her on that show and that’s how she met her real-life husband, Mark Consuelos, who sometimes fills in for Regis Philbin.  What do you think?

Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher are working on a new reality television show (yes, together!).  Aside from her modeling and talk show, Tyra has found success with America’s Next Top Model while Ashton has produced hit shows Punk’d and Beauty and the Geek.

What will they do together?  An unscripted show for ABC that will have contestants competing in a beauty pageant, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  ABC has already ordered eight episodes of the unnamed show which is said to contain a twist (big surprise with Ashton on board).

Could be interesting… What do you think?  Does the world really need another reality tv show?
