Barbara Walters announced today on The View with Britney Spears‘ friend, Sam Lufti, called her and told her that Britney is suffering from mental issues that can be helped. Also, contrary to rumors, he reveals that Britney is in regular contact with her mother, Lynne Spears, who has been very supportive.
