Kelly Ripa and the Germs…

Okay, I hate to admit it but Perez Hilton has a major point. A few months back, Clay Aiken was a guest host on Live with Regis and Kelly and, in an extremely rude effort to silence Kelly Ripa, he put his hand over her mouth. I was completely on her side – it’s not only disrespectful (particularly on someone else’s show) but it is unsanitary. She was accused of being upset, not because of the germs (which she claimed was the reason) but because Clay is allegedly gay and she said something like “I don’t know where that hand’s been.”
Fine. I agreed but something else has happened to make me question her true feelings.
Yesterday, when Jeff Gordon replaced Regis Philbin for the day, he inadverently drank from Kelly’s cup and she told him “it’s okay” and then proceeded to drink from it herself!!!!
Hello??? Anyone ever hear of having double standards? I love Kelly but this was very odd…
Ew. Okay, I would never let someone drink from my cup! They’d get SLAPPED right in the face! It really is kind of odd how she can have someone drink from her cup but someone putting their hand on her mouth gets her all grossed out. It’s pretty much the same thing.
